went to see kung fu hustle in Storm last night..
– the film can be classified as a amazing, distrubing, funny movie, action, kung fu, brutal, wierd, 3 1/2 star movie.

go see it.. you might be surprised.. btw its in chinese.

went to see u2 with shelly, O and caroline,
in a nut shell they were class..

over 2 hours of non stop wall to wall good music.
matt from canada was the luckiest guy there!! he got to play party girl with the lads on stage using one of the Bonos acoustic guitars…

crazy week / weekend is over !

after last week, working on the proposal, preparing for ncnrc,gandalf etc, the weekend brought driving around in a rented car, (05 ford focus Lx) nice car. The car gave great freedom!

On Saturday we scrubbed the yards and cut the shrubs etc around the guest house.. O did a great job painting the place. After dinner we went to the bog, took a few hours but I really enjoyed the bog – I use to (not hate) dislike the bog for some reason, now I find it quite enjoyable. Developed the R.TTT (Ronan Turf Turning Technique) which proved to a great success, only downside it does strain thighs,calf muscles etc.

Sunday brought driving around in a ford 4600 tractor! a bit different from the other ford I was driving! – we cut the silage and had it wrapped on Sunday. The bales were ‘double chopped’ which means more grass goes into the bale. The tractor was not up to the load this year… the amount of times I was driving on two wheels wasn’t funny.

Monday was working on presentation and playing soccer for 2 hours. my groin strain is gettin’ better!!:)
Tuesday / Wednesday was up at Maynooth for a productive meeting. We all stayed at the Barberstown Castle, good food, good accommodation.

anyway.. back to work…

hmm.. back from one of the best breaks I’ve had in a long time/ever. I put it down to Shelly. It was a little hot at times and I of course got burnt – but hey all in the name of the beast.

ok so here is a summary in no particular order and of course I have left stuff out..

wedding, fanatastic experience – congrats to diana and enrique
meeting old friends, brilliant.
got invited to another wedding- Elena and Xavier, April 22nd next year.
paella, chorizo, jamon & spanish food, the best in the world.
western water park, the biggest slide in europe = THE BEAST 30m drop.
seeing shelly relaxed and not worried about a thing was great.
driving around palma, amazing scenery.
beach/pool, I love splashing around.
not driving in valencia, fantastic.
AdHoc hotel in valencia, one of the nicest hotels you can stay in.
airberlin= wow! 24 euros = on time flight with food!

back to work. hmmm I was REALLY busy today. loads of things get done this week so.. I may not blog much after this. the chocolate is in the fridge for coffee !!!
