well – I went home this weekend and I managed to get bit and stung by the following:
1/ our pet dog (several times)
2/ our pet sheep ‘betty’
3/ red ants
4/ black ants
5/ nettles
6/ thistles
7/ female horsefly (the males don’t bite)
8/ some unidentifiable creature in the bog*
9/ electric fencer
*bog : An area having a wet, spongy, acidic substrate composed chiefly of sphagnum moss and peat in which characteristic shrubs and herbs and sometimes trees usually grow.
You got bitten by an “electric fencer”. Thats why you should stick with the classical stuff.
