things that bug me about people.

people driving on my bumper.
people who drive too close to me when I’m cycling.
people writing stupid ns2 scripts that make no sense and prove nothing.
people calling around to the house, attempting to sing christmas carols and demanding money.
people who don’t hold the door & those that don’t say thank you when you hold the door for them.

anyone got pet hates? .. feel free to vent.. venting is good.

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to obedience and warmth.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You’d like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful… that you’ll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future… one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage something you’ve always wanted… though you haven’t really thought about it.

In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You’ll do anything for love, but you won’t fall for it easily.

What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

home sweet home

I’m currently working from home this week and you know… I’m getting work done. I know I get stuff done in UL but there are distractions and perhaps I don’t work as well in UL. Today for example I got up, had breakfast did some reading on how FMS detectors work in US freeways, got a bullock back in from Callnans – rebuilt the wall in three places he tried and eventually got out from. Had lunch and then returned to looking at empirical information from Highway L202 (Phoenix Arizona) gathered by the FMS detectors. The plots were interesting so I went about try to find a curve that would fit the empirical data. A couple of hours later I had 6th order polynomial with 95% confidence that PotFlow can understand. I then headed off to check on the animals up in ‘Ryans’, by this time the weather had turned most foul!! when I was wandering up battling against the wind/rain I was thinking about how my new curve could be used to set trigger levels for LOS in PotFlow. I eventually got up there, counted the correct numbers of animals and headed back. After tea I decided to put my ideas to the test and low and behold they worked – I have some cool new results that are hopefully going to go into a section of my VT journal.

So I reckon being at home and farming increases my productively rate up by at least 40% (that’s what Matlab is currently predicting). If interested some of the variables used in my Productivity Equations are expressed in the following pseudo code
Loughrea_Productivity_Func(
ChaseCattle(NumPerDay),
BuildWalls(NumPerDay),
GotoMartAndDoReallyBadly,
GotoMartAndDoWell,
SleepInALavaPit(tempOfElectricBlanket),
GetFreeFood(CostOfShopping),
GoShoppingForFood(LevelofFoodInHouse,NumberOfGuestArriving),
IgnoreEmail_MSN(NumPerDay),
