o and i (u,e and a were not at home) went to see the Ringer.. now you’d think a combination of the Farrelly Brother, Jackass and Special olympics would lead to a crude cheap movie at the expense of the special olympics.. but no! there are some very funny parts in the movie and some very cringe worthy moments but more importantly there are a couple of underlying messages in the movie which make you think… anyhoo you should probaly wait until it comes out for rental or wait until comes out on sky movies – which probably won’t be too long!

wow time really has flown by since my last blog.. apologies for not blogging sooner.
so what’s happened in past while? loads of things.. mostly goodtimes but the month had a little sadness also.

L-man,Pam, Shelly and I decided to hold Little Christmas on the 17th (St. Patrick’s day is now moved to somewhere in early june) to mark the occasion of taking the Christmas tree down for the year. We had a Christmas dinner, all 12 courses : soup, salad, sorbet, main (turkey & ham), coffee, desert, desert, desert, desert, desert, desert, desert, cocktails. it took about 6 hours to complete the dinner – but it was worth it!

I’m back playing soccer again – the back feels fine, just have to keep doing the exercises. the plassey 10k is coming up and thinking about doing it… we’ll see.

work has been busy, I have to learn to say no.

I went to physio to fix up my back.. two sessions one last week and one on Monday. Yesterday the physio (in a loud Dutch voice) declared I was straight (I was gonna respond by saying.. yeah I know! how is my back doing?). I should be back on the court really soon… watch out! Thankfully I should be back on the bike again because parking is becoming a real mess these days!

I am going to build a pc case out of acrylic for an old pc lying around the house, I was thinking about putting it into a shell of an old radio but I decided against that.

other random news : the big-bro is gonna get the keys to the house this week so I will make a trip up to Dublin and see the place.

Little Christmas .. a little late

The Christmas tree is going to come down on the 16th of March, which L-man and I have dubbed Little Christmas. Yes, we are aware of the other Little Christmas but we don’t care about little things like dates. Apparently its the only day that men should be taking on all the household duties. Hmmm.

So we are going to have turkey, roast potatoes, gravy and all the Christmas trimmings one would expect! L-man is providing the Christmas CDs and we’re debating whether we should exchange gifts. Probably not.
