Wedding was good – pictures to follow. it was eventful even before we got there ! Driving up to Castlerea via Birr (to pickup PtHA) the back tyre decided to give up the ghost and explode on the Athlone bypass. Following a small bang, a low rumbling sound ensued. The spare wasn’t much better infact it was flat, we limped back to Athlone town and got Advance pitstop to get a new tyre and installed in record time. We just about made it to the wedding in time ( thanks to the Bride being 20 minutes late!)
World Cup! my two teams done well this weekend – Argentina won and Trinidad got a great result! Come on lads! Check out this for following the world cup, its tres cool!
The hurling draw took place this weekend and Galway got a nice group: Westmeath, Laois and Waterford. Maybe this year a bit of match practice will do them good!
