For most of it I was pre-ill. I think mgb passed on the remains of his flu to before he left for Ennis on friday.. I wasn’t feeling too good Friday night or Saturday at all! Shelly got me some one-two uniflu and it seem to do the trick ! Feeling much better now.

I watched the Ireland-Germany game on Saturday and Ireland were unlucky with the goal but I think Germany should have won it – they played much better than Ireland. Looking at the group, its going to be very tough to get out especially since only two can qualify. For those who don’t know, the group is Ireland, Wales, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Cyprus and San Marino.

Sunday brought the All Ireland hurling finals, Galway lost in the minors to a much stronger Tipp side and Cork lost to Kilkenny in a thrilling final. I was delighted to see kilkenny (the underdogs) win.

othernews: Spidey lives ! – the spider who has been living on my rhs wing mirror for over 4 weeks lives! I thought I’d lost him in the rain on Saturday when I was driving, but he? reappeared this morning and spun a nice new web! Coming in this morning I heaard on the radio that Steve Irwin ‘the crocodile man’ died over the weekend following a stingray attack off the coast of Aussi.
