it started and ended with a win

Interfirm 2007 is over. The first game was a win 3-2, the last game was a win 3-0. The only problem were the games in between. I don’t really want to say much about them but lets just say we didn’t win them! The astro league is still running and we are starting to play better.. we won last week 9-4 which was our biggest victory.

Friday, Shelly and I went to Boyler and Caroline’s wedding in Galway. We had a great time (pictures to follow)! it started with a pint in Pt Ha’s family pub (Strongs, Portumna), after that it was on to the reception – the meal was great. The band were fantastic – played all types of music and DJ really got the crowd going. Whilst eating, drinking and a little dancing (there was all sort of mad dances including Robot boy etc.), I got time to catch up with the class and I must say times are a changing.

On Sunday, we went out to Curraghchase Forest Park – it’s a really a fantastic place to go for a long Sunday stroll through the forest and around several lakes…we followed this up with a great meal in the La Piccola – both places come highly recommended!
