Sky movies have been showing There’s Something about Mary over and over and over again. It’s not the world’s greatest movie.. but I can’t stop watching it. I must have seen it 6 or 7 times now since the ‘accident’ and still I laugh at all the scenes. Perhaps I am associating with Tucker ?
I remember very well the first time I saw it – we laughed our heads off.. well I know did! At the time, it was showing in the worlds dingiest cinema (thankfully it’s gone now). For those who don’t know it is directed by the Farrelly brothers and it’s no wonder the official site for the movie is named clean-pipes (this is of course is in relation to ‘hair gel’).
The Farrelly brothers are also responsible for other classics such as Me, Myself and Irene, stuck on you, the Ringer, and of course the firm 205 favourite Dumb and Dumber. The next showing is Monday 07 January at 20:00 on Sky Movies Comedy.. I1ll probably watch it again..you should too!
